i saw it tonite, and was scared out of my wits, giggling and enjoying spotting the horrendous number of continuity gaffes (i am convinced they are deliberate!).
the cat fight with the gypsy is a classic - she is trying to put a curse on the girl.
during the fight her false teeth fall out, and she attacks her throat with her gums!!
I loved it too. We didn't stop laughing all the way through the movie. It did make me jump, which made my daughters laugh even harder.

We need a Christmas in July party
last week was finals week at the college.
as i was studying for one of my tests i noticed this one guy (early 20s, muscular, four day beard, average college student looking) getting on the elevator next to where i was sitting.
then i noticed he had a rather unusual tattoo.

i am sitting in the family lounge at the university of va medical center.
my grandson has paused his walk after 2 days because his 10 year old sister, aubrey, has had a terrible accident.
she fell off of a bike, slamming into a tree going downhill.

i didn't originally celebrate anything, but when my oldest son started school i decided that it was unfair to put him through what i went through in school.
i have to admit that i am loving the holidays, even though some of that old mindset tries to make me feel guilty.
we focus on what the holidays mean to us as a family and enjoying time together.
I celebrate everything too . It has been very healing to celebrate,especially Christmas, perhaps because I remember my grandparents celebrating and
that was a happy memory. I don't have many happy childhood memories.

Snoozy- I posted that I have lesbian dogs. I meant that quite literally. It started out as a dominance behavior but has turned into a very affectionate relationship. The older dog is spayed and the younger is not. It is not related to the heat cycle. I don't really want to get graphic, but they take turns with one humping and the other licking until they are finished. It is by no means just smelling and licking.
They also give each other presents such as their treats and groom each other.
I also have a neutered male cat who masterbates, but that's another topic altogether.
a jw friend told me that a newly remodeled kh in the area has a big picture of jesus with his hand extended in the entrance.
since it's a picture that is from the publications many say it's ok. sounds really out of place to me.
it tells me the jw's are going mainstream..
There was a large picture of Jesus in the foyer of our old Kingdom Hall. between two congregations. I don't have a picture and they have redecorated since we moved so I don't know if it's still there.
There are also murals of Jesus at the Assembly Hall I used to attend. And a creepy picture of children playing with a snake.
